P R I E S T L Y Why does life always turn out this way?
The rising sun cast shadows and streaks of unique color across the night sky, lightening it a glow. As the rays traveled across they earth, they hit a man. He was dirty, and grudgy, a long overdew bath was needed. He wore a simple solid light blue shirt, printed on it with black leeter is read "Save a tree, eat a beaver." He was also wearing black short that went down to the middle of his shin, and solid black converse shoes. A tinge of eyeliner wasleft on his right eye, and his hair still kept its perfect shape. The blue mohawk stood there proudly as the man walked, and it had no intension of every coming down.
As he wandered aimlessly around the field, he noticed trees up on the horizon. Most of them looked dead and or dieing, but the sweet smells flowed from the direction. At first he thought his nose was just playing a trick on him, all he could see was dead or dieing trees. But as he got closer, the smells got stronger. He finally got to the edge of the trees. They all were growing in perfect rows. He thought it strange how the trees would be so perfectly set, but then they felt stupid. Duh, it was an old orchard. As he proceeded, the trees seemed to begin to come alive with green leave and various oddly shaped, colorful plants. Never seeing anything like it before, he got closer, and took in a better sniff. The sweet scent flooded threw his nose, and his mouth began to water. With out hast he began picking peaches and apples off the branches, and devouring them in seconds.
Sure he was dirty and grudgy, but he didn't want to go home, atleast not yet. He didn't really have to call a place home anymore anyways. His brother sent him off, so why should he go back? He wasn't needed, hell, he never was. No one ever cared for him, never, not at anytime in his life. Not even his past girlfriends, he just felt as though they were just using him. It felt wrong. Things like this don't happen to good guys. Sure he dressed a little different, so what? He had never done anything bad to deserve this life. And yet here he was, living. Everything was just so screwed up. He justed wished he could redo it all.
The sun was beginning to set, and small creatures began to emerge from the trees. He slightly grumbled as he saw the rodents and other small animals come to feast on the various fruits. He was enjoying his peace as quite, and little place all to himself. With a sigh, he walked over to an old, fat limbed apple tree. He climbed up in it and sat down on one of the lower branches as leaned his back up against the trunk. He took a deep breath, looking up at the darkening sky, and waited for something amazing to happen.

Lola - You walked away from me - when I needed you. Soft eyes surveyed a new area. Lola felt a serene smile hit her soft pink lips. Her nostrils were hit with a sweet aroma; she looked around, trying to see what it was. She started to walk unknowingly to the direction of another person. She wanted to stay hidden, unknown in this strange, unpredictable world. She was alone, and that's how she needed it to stay; nothing good came to others who decided to waste their time with her. She swallowed, consumed by the truth in that.
Her soft steps could barely be heard as she walked towards the strange plants that had taken her attention completely. She didn't see the other male until she was too close to disappear. She prayed he didn't hear her as she slowly attempted to step away. She had to make mental notes on his appearance, though. She smiled; okay, so she liked Mohawks; and? She felt like a dwarf compared to him; she was a mere five foot three. She gulped and turned. She wanted to go, but she knew that it wouldn't be easy.
As if on cue, she tripped over her own feet. Lovely, Lola. You're brilliant, she scolded herself as she stood up. No doubt he heard that. She had to laugh, though. She was completely idiotic. Lola - Eyes were waking up just to fall asleep.

P R I E S T L Y Sticks and stones m'love.
Priestly sat there, completely unknowing to the girl that was walking amongst him in the trees. His hazely eyes were just fixed into the sky. It seemed with each passing moment it got a lot darker. A small star slowly began to glow, and he looked at it for a moment. His mind still deep in thought. So many different things ran through his mind; family, his one friend, and just everything that has happened to him the last couple of days. It had just been so hectic and crazy that he never just stopped to look up at the sky. So, why not make it up now?
That thought was quickly ruined when he herd the soft sound of footsteps. He grumbled to himself, his eyes still up in the sky. His shoulder's seemed to slouch, and he sat up slowly, not really wanting to face who ever this person was that was walking closer.
A thumping noise was what finally made him turn and look at her. A large smirk cracked on his lips as he saw her laying on the ground. With a chuckle, he turned and jumped out of the tree. A small thud was her when he get the ground, and small dust clouds rose up around his feet. He slowly took a couple steps towards her, trying to help her up. "You okay?" He asked, a grin still on his face. He tried not to laugh, which wasn't hard, but he figured he would at least try to be nice.
As she got to her feet, he suddenly felt extremely tall. He was around six foot two inches. So, nearly a foot taller than her. His eyes glanced over her features, and he seemed relieved. This was the first person he had seen around here that wasn't a teenager. He smirked to himself, thinking that maybe there were more older people out there. No offense to her, but he didn't know if he could take anymore of just teenagers. They were starting to drive him insane. Well, more insane...

♫Lola nicole Andrews ♫ heard it from another room eyes were waking up just to fall asleep loves like suicide dazed out in a garden bed with a broken neck lays my broken gift just like suicide
Lola glanced up at the guy and frowned. "Yeah, I'm fine," she murmered, her voice hoarse from not talking for a while. She rolled her eyes, annoyed with his stupid smirk. Sure, it was probably amusing, but she wasn't in the mood. She examined him and found a grin appear on her face; no a teen. It was a very pleasant suprise, to be sure.
She let out a soft smile and looked down. Okay, so did she need to say something or just walk away before she was "forced" into conversation; was she ready to start speaking again?

P R I E S T L Y Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?
An eyebrow raised at the sound of her hoarse voice. Then she rolled her eyes. That just seemed to smeer his grin a little wider around the edges. He looked pretty stupid, standing there with a ridiculious grin. He didn't care though. He never cared. Hell, if he did, then he wouldn't be dressed the way he was. This was what made him happy, well, as happy as he could ever get in this world, and he was going to suck it up the most he could.
His grin slowly slithered away as they stood there in rather awkward silence. "A gay baby was just born..." He muttered, mostly to himself. It was probably one of his favorite little sayings ever. He really didn't know why, it was just amussing in its own little way.
"So....." he said, his hand reaching up to scratch the enlarged side burns on his face. "My name is Priestly." He said, raher statly. He his outstretched ingreeding, curious to see if she would shake it or not. Most people just stared at it like it was green and slimy, other just kind of waved thier hands in an awkward hi kinda way. Only a few people shook it. It was his own little experiment. Just something to keep him going through the day without realizing how suckish his life really was.

Lola - And then, when you smiled that way, I was lost in my own selfish dreams; I never thought about you in a way that didn't solely please myself. What a waste. Lola smiled uncertainly at him."I'm Lola," she murmured and shook his hand; most of the time she completely kept to herself, but she might as well be kind to the guy. Just something about him made her decide that kindness was best at the moment. She grinned and looked down."Guess kids aren't alone, huh?" she asked. It was almost strange that her tome was that of happiness. Teens weren't bad; they just got a little... boring.

P R I E S T L Y A bird with clipped wings will still dream.
Ah. So she did have a name. He made a mental note to himself as she shook his hand, feeling slightly glad that she did. Atleast it ment she didn't think he was a freak, but then again, it could have just been pity. When she spoke, a small snort escaped him. "I am so damn sick of all the kids. I mean, Im not that old, but hanging around them to long makes me wanna shoot my brains out." It was like you lost brain cells just even looking at the teens, and did he ever believe it. Sure, he was a teen once, but he never acted like they did.
"They all could indiviually carring on a soap opera..." he muttered, his eyes looking off in the distance.

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. " 'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door; Only this, and nothing more."
A slight smile hit Lola's lips. She nodded slowly, her eyes bright with amusement. She laughed a bit, completely agreeing with his words. The was nothing more on the subject, for he had said it all. She looked at their surroundings, noting every movement besides themselves. It was beautfil, sure, but did it made up for being trapped, away from people who might [or might not] care about you? I thought not. Her mind wandered, her eyes distant.
She gave a serene smile to Priestly, and her eyes met his for a moment. She could only guess at why he was here, what his history was. His eyes showed no emotion; that told her so many things. She fumbled around for words to say, for the silence was unsettling. "I-I... sorry; I can't even talk to p-people," she said, her cheeks reddening.

P R I E S T L Y Mad like a Hatter.
His mind slowly began to drift off as he stared out into the odly shaped trees. It was hard to stay focused. He was rather AD/HD, just without all the hyperness. Well, that was half a lie. At times you could be the most energetic, random perosn on the face of ther planet. And then there were those days like today. The days when you really didn't want to do anything, just curl up into a ball and hope everything wll be different when you look back up.
He had been thinking to much. That was his problem. He let his mind stray, and it always seemed to go back to his family, well, if you could call it a family. As of right now it only consisted of a brother. His mother was dead, he killed his father. What was left? Why was he still here?
"I-I... sorry; I can't even talk to p-people."
Slowly his mind started coming back to reality and his eyes shifted over the the girl before him. His green eyes looked at her red cheeks, a smile cracking on his face. "You were fine a moment ago..." He said narrowing his eyes at her. He didn't really know why he did that, he just liked to narrow his eyes it people. It usually either made them uncomfortable, or it made him look like he was planning something. Well, he was planning on planning something, he just didn't know what yet.
"How old are you?" His right eyebrow seemed to raise as he asked his question. He hoped to God she wasn't one of those girls that got all offended when you asked. He was just curious, and he had something on his mind at the moment.

There's something out there, far from my home A longing that I've never known...
She grinned back and shrugged."Well... to break silence, I guess," she murmured, smiling softly at him. She look down, her mind wandering far away from the orchard and Priestly. She swallowed, and her eyes showed emotion that was never to be seen. A strange pangof sadness hit her; she wasn't the only adult... Were the kids going to be stuck as adults too? You're just going to drive yourself crazy; stop thinking about it, her inner voice muttered darkly. It was right, though.
She let out a laugh and smiled at him."You know, you're not supposed to ask a woman that, but I'll humor you," she said quietly."I'm twenty-four," she said, glancing at him again."You?" she asked, curious aswell.

P R I E S T L Y Ignorant to all the symbols.
A light chuckled escaped his mouth when she spoke, along with a bright smile cracking onto his lips. Twenty four. Dang, he had her pegged for much younger. Twenty five and three quarters." He said boldly. "Well, accually, the three quaters part porbably isn't right... I just threw it in there for shits and giggles." His smile seemed to crack a little bigger as he looked at her.
"Anywho, since your a whole legal person, wanna go get a drink?
It had been on his mind all day. Hell, all month if you want to get into detail. He knew he shouldn't, but he still wanted to. Just like smoking, or sex. It was wrong, but he still liked it. Thinking about smoking, he cramed his hand down into his deep pockets and pulled out a box of cigarrets. He flipped it open and grabbed a cancer stick. He stuck the tip in his mouth, shoved the box back into his pocket, then pulled out his lighter. It was old and simple, not like all the pretty, fancy ones you could get now a days. He flicked back the top, and thumbed the lighter until the flame showed up. His kept his hand around it so the wind wouldn't blow it out, then lit up his smoke. He sucked in the deadly poisoned, then blew it out threw his nostrils. He smiled, then looked at Lola.
"Shit, sorry. You want one?" He asked as he shut the lighter and stuck his hand back into his pocket.

Lola smiled at him and laughed softly."A laugh, not a giggle," she said randomly, and looked down to her flip flops. She glanced at him and shrugged."Sure; haven't had a chance to have a drink with anyone in a while, huh?" she asked, and she realized that she wasn't sure where a bar was.
She sighed slightly and watched him take out the cigarrette. She rolled her eyes. Cancer sticks; she should like the things since they killed her sperm donor father. She frowned, and the sudden, strange anger hit her momentarily. She shook her head quickly."No, thanks," she said, and hid the anger with a smile.
"Okay, so where's a bar?" she asked quietly, turning to him, ready to start walking.

P R I E S T L Y The article read living wasteland
When she first spoke, Priestly narrowed his eyes. "The saying is shits and giggles...." His voice was low, and a slight mumble like grumble. He had a bit of an ego, and he always had to be right. He wasn't even sure if that was what she was talking about, it was just what came to mind. He picked alot of fights, whether he had intended on it or not. It was just his personality, in his DNA, past down from father to son.
He spoke again, a a grin showed faintly on his lips. "Is it that obvious?" A light chuckled escaped his mouth, his grin still faintly remaining.
His hand slowly came back out of his pocket when she said that she didn't want a cigeratte. He just shrugged. It seemed that nobody ever smoked around here anymore. Atleast she wasn't one of those people that were all gung ho for making the sticks illegal. He loved the little death traps drapped in nice white paper. He held it loosly between his index and middle finger, occasionaly taking a long drag on it. He tilted back his head and blew the smoke out of his mouth in an almost straight line, then smiled. It was a work in progress.
His green eyes turned and looked at the short girl infront of him. "Well, I think it is in Zonarchy..." He said, his eyes seeming to go distant as he thought. It had been awhile since his last visit, and that seemed like the most likely kingdom to have one in. "Anywho, its not like I'm in any rush to get there or anything, I just have a craving." His head went off to the left after he spoke. He leaned back on his heels and seemed to turn on them so that his body was facing left. "My car is this way, unless you wanna walk..." His green eyes glanced back over at Lola.
