Just hear me out
If it's not perfect I'll perfect it till my heart explodes
Lucius was in his room at the Kayne house. He was going through his drawers, throwing shirts all over the place. "Where the hell is it?" His eyes peered around, a pissed look on his face. You couldn't even see the floor, it was just a rainbow of colors of shirts. Kinda like a unicorn threw up or something. He sighed, he was going to have to clean it when he got back. Hell, he needed to clean the whole house. the last time it was done was about two weeks ago, and even then he did a shitty job. He bit his lower lip and poked his head outsite his room. The hall didn't look that gross... Then he remembered, he was on a quest, and he needed to find that damn shirt![/size]
His hand scratched his bare chest as he turned back towards his room. He slowly looked over the floor, then up on his bed. He already had one shirt hanging on one of the dresser drawers, but he needed the one that went under it. He grumbled, and started throwing clothes off his bed and unto his floor. When he was about half way done, he saw it. He smiled, grabbing a solid black shirt. Sure, it was boring, but he wanted to wear it. He pulled it on her his head, then turned back to his dresser. He grabbed the pale, hunter's green collared button down shirt, and put one arm in, then the other. He quickly folded up his sleees to just below his elbow, then exited his room, making sure to shut the door behind him. He didn't want Mr. or Miss Kayne seeing it like that.
Then it was off to the bathroom. He pushed open the door, then flipped on the lights. He stared at himself for a moment in the mirror. He grumbled slightly as he looked at his hair. He hated it, always had. He ran his hand through it, then kind of pulled it up a bit. It didn't look any better. He frowned. 'I don't see how Dylan can stand to look at this...' He said to himself. He looked just a second longer, then left the bathroom.
Time slowly ticked by, one mintue led o the next, and before he knew it, he was sitting in the limo. there seemed to be a weird, awkward silence as they sat there. Lucius's eyes mostly stayed staring out the window, only occasionally taking a glimpse over at Candice. She seemed deep in thought, and he just didn't know what to say. Just sitting there seemed like the best way o handle things. He would probably end up saying some random, stupid remark, maybe make her grin for a second, but no more than that.
It felt deperssing. H almost felt as though Candice didn't trust him anymore, not that he knew she had ever trusted him. I mean, he was just bought just because her father fails at being a father. They really didn't need Lucius. Not like he needed them. Sure, he had Dylan, but it hadn't been very long, the Kayne family was, well, his family. They shared the same last name, and well, they all kind of shared the same traits. Sure Lucius wasn't human, but he wished he was. He felt like he didn't fit in, and it was the truth. He could never understand why Dylan liked him the way he did. He was just a doll, a android. He is going to 'die' in ten years or so, if he even makes it that long. Life just seemed unfair.
Then again, when was it ever fair?
He stole a glance over at Candice. Her life was pretty fucked up. and he didn't even know the whole story. He didn't know what was going on between her and her step-father, he didn't know why she now started carring a purse. Hell, he practically knew nothing about her and he still thought her life was messed up. Depressing was all he could think of. And he wanted those feeling gone. He wasn't supposed to feel these things. He was a doll. but then again, if he got rid of the sadness, would it get rid of the attraction? He never thought about it. Was that the price for being able to find Dylan? He didn't know what to think of it, he just wanted to cheer up.
Speaking of which, he noticed them pulling up to his house.
A light smile hit his face as he gazed through the window. Candy exited the car first, then Luscius followed. He walked up towards the door, sligtly gland that Candice held back. Then suddenly, Dylan was standing there. Bared chested. Lucius cheeks slightly tinted red, and a smirk cracked onto his lips. His left eyebrow raised as his eyes seemed to sweep Dylan over. He didn't know what to say. His smirk slowly turned into a childish grin, and hiseyes went back up and met with Dylan's. "Nice abs..." Stupid, yes, but Lucius was always socially awkward. He never knew what to say, or said the wrong thing. Which ever, it really didn't matter to him.
His eyes flashed over a Candice for a few seconds before looking back at Dylan. He suddenly wondered if Dylan was aware he didn't have a shirt on. Lucius liked it, but then again, who wouldn't?
