Kristen ran into the classroom just as the bell rang. It was her first day of school here, ever. She had just moved from Australia and was shocked at the big city of Chicago, but was really surprised how old the school was. Her old school had been really nice and big. She looked at all the people staring at her when she walked in. School had already started for them, so she was a transfer student, everyone knew eachother already but she didn't know any of them. The teacher walked up and told her to take the seat in the back. She walked nervously to the back of the room and could feel all the eyes staring at her.

Cameron was chatting with some of his friends quietly until everyone's attention ended up at the back of the room. Afraid to turn his head, he slowly looked back there. She looked oddly familiar, but he didn't want to say anything and look like a goof. He watched as she sat in the back of the room, just a couple seats away from him. So this was the new girl everyone was blabbering about. Soon his friend was snapping in front of his face, trying to catch his attention. 'Yo! Stop staring! Not cool, man.' With a smile he looked back to the front of the class, trying not to look to the back of the class. [/blockquote]

Kristen's cheeks turned bright red when a few people were still staring. After the teacher got their attention, she told them that Kristen was a transfer student from Australia. Kristen smiled at the teacher then looked back down at the spiral notebook on her desk. She saw someone that looked really familiar who had been staring a few moments earlier. She couldn't put her finger on it, but she felt like she knew him from somewhere. She looked up the clock, hoping the time would go by faster. She just wanted to make it through the day without humiliating herself.

All he had to do was make it through this class, and then, hopefully he would be able to talk to her. She transfered from Australia. Cameron couldn't help but feel slightly amused. Foreign girls were just ten times better in his book. His blue gaze landed on the clock, and then his friend who only took small glances to the back of the classroom. He was scraping way far back into his mind to try and find out where he had seen her from. It was a real bad case of deja vu. Sooner or later it would smack him in the face... He just hoped it was some time soon. [/blockquote]

Finally, the bell rang. 'That class seemed to last forever! Only a few more to go!' She thought as she put her notebook and textbook into her messenger bag. She stood up, and could still feel a bunch of the other teens watching her. She looked at the boy she saw earlier and smiled at him, hoping he wasn't like mean or anything like that. 'Where have I seen him before?!' She thought as she walked out. She looked down at her schedule at the room number of her next class. "Where's that?" She mumbled under her breath as she looked up at the room numbers above the doors.

The bell rang, snapping him from his thoughts. He swiftly gathered his things, and scurried out the door. Cameron couldn't let this chance slip away, he had to talk to her, find out some things. When he found her through the crowd of kids, he rested a hand on her shoulder. "You know, you are really hard to catch up to." He teased with a grin. Enough small talk... He had to figure out some way to get closer to her. "I'm Cameron, and I will be your tour guide for today." His voice was soft, holding that childish edge to it. [/blockquote]

Kristen turned to the boy behind her as he put his hand on her shoulder. She let out a light laugh then said, "I'm Kristen, nice to meet ya!" It came out of her mouth with her Australian accent that so many Americans seemed to like. She didn't see why either, it just sounded normal to her. His name even sounded familiar to her! 'I know I've met him before!' She still couldn't figure it out, maybe it would come to her later.

Her Australian accent drove him mad. What wasn't hot about an Australian accent? Cameron, not only driven insane by her accent, but by the whole-knowing-her-but-not-knowing-her thing. "Cute accent. People are gonna be popping up around you like daisies, so if you don't like a lot of attention, watch yourself... Oh, and be careful around the girls, they seem to get territorial when theirs new meat in the school." He was only doing what friends did. He didn't want to see her get ripped to shreds in this animal kingdom he called school. "Anyways... Where are you headed? Might be able to help you." [/blockquote]

"Thanks for the advice!" She said with a cute smile. Kristen looked down at her paper and said,"Um, English in 1103." She looked around they were by classroom 2104, so where was 1103? On the complete other side of the school, knowing Kristen's luck. She looked around, then asked him,"Do you know where that is?" He probably did, but she just wanted to talk to him. Maybe she would get lucky and he would have the same class!

Cameron only smiled as a response. He was just worried on finding out what her next class was. "Hm... I think I know where it is, since it is my next class." He said with a small smile. English was only his favorite subject, and now he had two reasons to look forward to going there. Without thinking he hooked his arm with hers and started dragging her along, hoping to speed down the halls to English. Soon enough room 2104 was in front of them. It was only on the other side of the school... "Here we are, missy." [/blockquote]

"Why thank you!" Kristen said as she walked into the class room, where still there were people watching her. At least she already had one friend, and a cute one at that. He seemed very nice, but she still had that feeling that she had met him before. She sat down in one of the empty desks, and hoped that he would sit next to her. She really didn't want to sit in the middle of a bunch of people she didn't know.

"You are so very welcome, Madame." He said with a light chuckle. Cameron only followed close behind, like a lost puppy. It was nice to know that he, Cameron Kane, was walking with the hot Australian transfer student. He couldn't help but feel a burst of pride. He happily took the seat next to Kristen. He wanted to ask if they had met before, but he thought it was stupid question. "For some reason... Call me crazy, but I feel like we've met before." He said softly, his blue gaze locked on her. Cameron felt a little bit stupid after that sentence... What a goof. [/blockquote]

Kristen looked over at him with a surprised look on her face. "You get that feeling too?!" She asked. "That's weird." She said with a chuckle. She was determined to remember where she had met him or if she ever had. She looked at him for awhile before class started, but even when it did, she glanced over at him a few times. The teacher decided to give them a study period instead of work that day, which was a huge relief to Kristen. "So, where do you think we met?" She asked with a smile.

Relief flooded through him at her words. He was just glad he hadn't went ahead and made himself look stupid. Cameron just didn't remember where exactly they met. He pondered on it... Gladly, there was no work to waste time on, it would just make thinking so much easier. Then, a bulb went on in his head. "We were in an apple orchard." He blurted out, his voice highly amused. "I didn't realize how stupid that seemed until I said it..." He mumbled, running his hand through his hair. [/blockquote]

'The orchard? That's it!' Kristen thought as she looked at him. It started to slowly come back to her. Slowly, but surely. She remembered him now. "You're right!" She said with a smile on her face. She couldn't help but be excited. She hadn't seen him in what seemed like forever, and was really glad that she gets to see him all the time now. "Now I remember you." She said with another cute grin on her face.
