Teagan slid a ten dollar bill across the counter so she could get her skates. They gave her the change back and she put it into her pocket, then grabbed the skates off of the counter top. Skating was one of those things that she would do to get her mind off of things. Teagan was definitely a good skater. She sat down and took off her shoes, then stored them in one of the small lockers on the wall. She put her right foot into the skate quite easily and tied it tight, doing the same with her left foot.
She stood up on her skates and started to roll on to the wooden rink floor. She could skate with ease, she rarely ever busted. If she did, it was because some little kid cut her off. But luckily, there weren't any little ones there that night, so there wasn't really going to be a problem at all. She hoped that some of her friends would show up tonight, they usually did, but sometimes it just seemed like no one was ever there. Or better yet, maybe she would meet someone new.

Alvin wandered desperately into the skating rink. Trust me, this young boy had no intentions of skating, he was only in here to see some hot chicks on skates roll by. A smirk slipped onto his lips just thinking about it. With a sigh of content he moved over to a bench that rested right in front of the wall that separated the rink floor from everything else. His eyes scanned the area, and a small sigh escaped his lips. He hoped that some friends showed up, though they would probably want to skate, and he didn't like skating.
His eyes rested on a blonde in the distance, and a smile only broadened on his lips. She skated with ease, and that fascinated him. Alvin looked down at the floor, letting a sigh escape his lips. He shook his head, fixing his wonderfully colored hair with a wide grin. He wasn't sure what to do about this beauty. With any luck she would roll his way, and maybe, just maybe he would get lucky. Highly doubted it... "Mann...." He mumbled as he slouched down further on the bench. [/blockquote]

Teagan continued to skate around the circle for a bit, then started to skate backwards. She wasn't trying to show off, she didn't even know that anyone was watching. Well, until she looked over at the side wall to see a guy standing there watching her skate around. Once she got closer to him, she realized how cute he really was. Why not go say hey to him? She had no problem with talking to random guys if they were hot.
She skated up to him, even though he was on the other side of the wall. "Hey boy." She said with a smile on her face. She ran her fingers through her bangs to fix them, so she wouldn't look like an idiot.

She was totally taunting him, sitting there pulling off all of those moves. If only he gave a rat's ass about skating. Sure, it totally amazed and impressed him, but he didn't care about skating. He couldn't skate, and so it was something to put on his things of dislike list. Alvin thought about getting up off his lazy butt and getting himself something to drink, but that thought was slowly shot down when he saw her skating towards him. It felt like someone had set some heavy weights down on his chest, keeping him from breathing right.
Her words came to him, and it took him a while to realize he was the only one there at the moment. "Hey girly." He said casually, as if he already knew her. "Whatcha doin in a place like this?" He asked with a raised brow and a charming little grin. Alvin had to pull his gaze away from her, just to keep himself from staring at her. He didn't want to look like a total weirdo... [/blockquote]

"What most people do at a skating rink." Teagan responded with a laugh. "Just gettting my mind off of a few things, and skating just seems to do the trick." She smiled at him from over the small wall. "Why don't you put some skates on and get yourself out here?" She asked with a cute little smile on her face. She could tell that he wasn't really all that into skating just by the way he stood there beside the rink without doing anything else.
She skated off the rink and over to him. She was just about an inch or two shorter than him when she had skates on, she wasn't that tall of a person. So he was definitely a good bit taller than her, but she liked the tall ones anyways.

Alvin smiled at her words, a grin resting on his lips. Then he heard her suggest that he get some skates on and join her. "Naw... I don't skate. I just come here to meet with friends." He explained to this complete stranger. Sure, it was boring to sit around and watch other people skate around in circles, but it wasn't much fun to skate around and circles either. Alvin tugged at his yellow and baby blue DC shirt, then his hands soon rested on his skinny jeans.
He watched as she rolled her way over to him, leaving the little wooden rink. Alvin noticed he was slightly taller than her, and a smile came to his lips. He let out a sigh as he rested there, the smile soon creeping off his lips as he looked over at the door. No friends had arrived... They would have surely called for him, making a huge scene. He was kind of glad none had showed up yet. Alvin saw this girl and he called dibs. [/blockquote]

"Well you're no fun." Teagan said jokingly. "Please skate with me." She said with a cute smile on her face. He would probably still say no, but then she would just end up talking to him, or finding another somebody to skate with and talk to. Even though, this guy was extremely attractive. "So, boy, are you gonna skate with me or not?" She questioned, he hadn't told her is name, so she was just going to call him 'boy' until he did. She skated away from him slowly and towards the wooden rink.
Once she was on the rink and on the other side of the wall, she skated up to where he was still standing there and smiled one of her pretty girl smiles, hoping he would put some skates on and get his ass out there with her. Hot guys always showed up at the rink, so its not like she couldn't find someone else to flirt with. It wasn't even a small problem for her.

Alvin, deciding not to ruin the fun like a party pooper, decided to get some skates. He pulled some money out of his pocket, ready to pay for the skates. "Fine fine..." He mumbled as he slowly wandered over to the window, paid for the skates and wandered over to the bench. He sat down and laced up the skates. Alvin could skate with ease, but it's not like he could do anything fancy, plus he just thought it was something that girls should do way more than guys. Once he was all laced up he met her on the wooden rink floor.
"Hope you're happy. Now you'll get to watch me fall right on my ass." He said with a charming grin and a wink. Alvin slowly started skating, beginning to leave her behind him. So far so good... With a sigh he looked straight ahead, trying his best not to fall. That's the only thing that was really tugging at his mind. He just didn't want to fall, especially in front of the hot girl that had persuaded him to actually get up and do something. [/blockquote]

Teagan smiled at him when he finally caved in and went to get skates. She didn't even know if he was any good at skating, but when he stepped onto the rink in the skates, she could tell that he wasn't the best at it. But he wasn't all that bad either. She quickly caught up with him with out a problem. She looked over at him, "I've never seen you here before, and I come here alot." She stated then turned so she was skating backwards, "So why are you here this time?" She asked him curiously. She wasn't trying to be nosey or anything, so was just making conversation.
She grabbed both of his hands and pulled him along with her, she was going backwards, and he was going frontwards. She knew he could skate fine, but she was wanted to 'help' him out, or just get a chance to hold his hand. She barely knew him, but whatever. She was known to take the risks in life. She looked over her shoulder to make sure she wasn't going to run into anyone, and there was only a few other people on the rink and luckily none of them were behind her.

One moment he was alone, next she was skating right by his side. She sure didn't seem like a shy kind of person. I mean, she was talking to a stranger. They didn't even know each other's names. "Oh, well, I was kinda bored and needed somethin to do." He explained with a small smile. Did she really want to complain? I mean, Alvin was pretty good looking, and if he was her, he would be pretty dang happy to see her. Well, he was already gazing at her from across the room, so maybe they weren't too different.
She had soon grabbed his hands, and he nearly flinched and pulled his hands away. Alvin wasn't one to hold hands and be all cutesy. He was normally the one-night-stand kind of guy. It was nice though. There were butterflies fluttering freely in his stomach, and no matter how hard he tried to let them die in his stomach acids, nothing happened. Alvin was too amazed with them holding hands then he was impressed by her skating backwards. He was just so lost... [/blockquote]

Teagan simply smiled at him for a second. "Well, you should come here a little more often." She said, still smiling at him. She still didn't know his name, but she didn't feel like asking. She would ask him once she decided if she actually wanted to get to know him or not. "It'd be nice to see some new people here, its always the same old people here every week and it gets pretty damn borin'." She said.
She could tell that he was kind of hesitant about holding hands, she could feel his hands flinch in her when she grabbed them. 'Not the hand holding type then, hm?' She thought as she let go of his hand, she wasn't so sure if he liked holding hands or if he just wasn't used to it. If he actually wanted to hold her hand he could, but she wouldn't hold hands with him if it made him uncomfortable.

He listened to her words, a smile coming to his lips. This only meant that he needed to invite his friends along with him. Then it wouldn't be so boring. "I see... Well, next time I'll be sure to ask my friends to tag along. They're fun." He explained with a grin. Alvin was fun, but when he was with a group of friends he got a little out of hand. "I don't have many people who come here... They are all clubbin' or hanging around at the park acting like punks." He said softly.
It wasn't long before she wasn't holding his hands anymore. He looked down at the floor as it rolled past him. He pulled his arms away, soon grabbing her hands with a charming smile and a wink. Alvin wasn't uncomfortable with holding hands, he just normally wasn't that kinda guy. He didn't normally do that cutesy stuff, but maybe he could do it...just this once. [/blockquote]

Teagan couldn't help but smile when he grabbed her hands back after she had let go of his. "The manager here doesn't really like a lot of trouble, so as long as they don't cause a problem, they can all come." She said with a laugh. One time, a bunch of obnoxious guy came to rink and started a few fights and through trash on the rink floor, plus some other things that aren't going to be mentioned.
She wanted to skate a little faster, but she would have to turn around to do that and she didn't want to let go of his hands just yet, so she just kept skating the way she was already. She really wanted to know his name, not knowing was really starting to bug her, "What's your name anyways?" she asked with a smile.

Alvin couldn't help but smile at her words. He was a troublemaker and so much more. Everyone was just lucky his friends weren't there, even though he didn't want anyone to show up. He wanted this hot girl all to himself. Selfish much...? He held onto her hands, a grin on his lips. Alvin had probably been one of those punks that had been kicked out of the building a couple times. He hadn't exactly shown orderly conduct, and he was damn proud. The young boy acted up in front of his friends. Who didn't? "Well, then, let's hope I decide to behave." He said with a chuckle.
He was a lucky duck. He was skating with a rather good looking girl, and he didn't want anything or anyone to rain down on his parade. Though, deep inside he was wondering what her name was. Right when he had gotten the nerve to ask, the question had spilled from her lips. "My names Alvin." He explained with a grin and a charming wink. "What's yours?" For some reason he felt like a child in elementary school. The way they were going at this whole name thing reminded him of the "good ol' days."

Teagan laughed, "You better." She said jokingly with a grin on her face. She looked over her shoulder so she wouldn't hit the little girl that was on the rink with them now. "Can you skate backwards?" She asked him. She was gonna turn them so she was skating forwards, but if he couldn't go backwards there might be a small problem.
'Alvin...' She repeated in her head after he told her his name. "I'll let you know." She said with a cute smile and wink. She wanted to let him wonder about it for awhile, she would tell him later on though. She couldn't keep it from him too long, she was bad at keeping secrets even if they were her own. She always seemed to blurt them out at one point or another. She was curious about him, considering she had never seen him before, so it was nice to see a new face, especially a cute one. Teagan looked around one more time to see if any of her friends were there, the ones that would yell out her name and spoil the game for her.
