The silence was killing her, killing her very slowly. Her eyes went over to Dean, watching him grip the steering wheel. She let out a sigh. Whatever it was it must have been important otherwise this wouldn't have happened. Then she heard his answer, and she nearly blew a gasket. Did he just say he was a werewolf? She opened her mouth to say something, and she just closed it almost immediately. Nothing would come out so why let it hang open? Her mouth soon opened again, and nothing came out, so it just seemed to close mechanically. "Really? Are you being serious? A werewolf?" She asked softly, her eyes wide and filled with curiosity. A sigh escaped her lips, and then a huge smile appeared. "That is freaking awesome! No fair! I wanna be a werewolf!" She whined, a beaming smile on her lips.

When she first spoke, he just shut his eyes for a moment and took in a breath. Then she spoke again. His eyes flickered open and he looked over at her with a half crazed look on his face. "Are you being fucking serious?" He asked, completely not beileving what she just said. Freaking awesome? Not fair? Wanna be one? What the hell? Was she mentally ill? Well, that was an easy question, yes! Apparently she had something extremely wrong with her if she wanted to be blessed with such a curse. He sat there frozen for a moment, his eyes still resting on her. "What the hell do you knwo about werewolves that makes you wanna be one so badly?" He still couldn't beilve she said she wanted to be one. Every other person he told just completely freaked out. Apperantly she had no idea what she was sitting next to.

She looked at him blankly, shrinking away from him at his words. It just seemed like it would be awesome to be a werewolf, that's all. She ignored his first question, it seemed to sting her ears. She let out another sigh as she heard his second question. She liked the first one better. A low grumble came from her as she shifted uncomfortably in the seat. Her eyes managed to look over at him, and she tried to smile. "I don't know, it just seems awesome... Did I say something wrong?" She asked the last part softly. She didn't mean for this to turn into some hostile war zone, but maybe that was supposed to happen. Maybe Dean was just waiting for the perfect time to snap.

"I don't know, it just seems awesome... Did I say something wrong?" His eye slightly twitched and his nostrils flared as h stared at her. Why he had suddenly had this blinding rage, he had no idea. It was just one of those days. He looked away from her for a moment, shaking his head. His eyes growing darker in color with in oncoming hidden rage. "Of course you said something wrong! A person is not supposed to want to be some beast, some monster, just because they thought it sounded awesome!" His voice was bitter and cold. He shook his head again and stared out the window. "You just have no idea, not even the slightest clue, do you?" His eyes still got darker and darker as he stared blankly through them. His eyelids shut, past memories seeming to flood back and haunt him. He grumbled queitly to himself, his left hand coming up and rumbing the temple of the side of his head.

She stared at him through wide eyes, and it seemed like she was staring at nothing. It seemed like her heart froze, caused her to stay still. Her mouth was closed as she watched him, watch the anger seem to drip from him. It was scary in a way. "I'm sorry, Dean. Please calm down." She said softly, almost pleading. With a light sigh she managed to scoot closer, resting an arm on his shoulder. He wouldn't break her wrist, would he? How she hoped not. That would surely make her run for the hills if that was what he was aiming for. "I didn't mean to upset you..." She spoke softly, trying to keep her voice from shaking. It probably was, but she didn't want to show that she was scared. She just didn't like it when people got angry, when people yelled and threw fits.

He herd her speak, yet he didn't. It was more like some muffled sound in the background of a rock concert. He was completely getting lost within his own thoughts. Thinking how how badly he wanted to be human, when a human was sitting next to him thinking almost the opposite. When her hand touched his shoulder, he flinced. His muscles tightened and he opened his eyes, now completely a pitch black. He didn't want to look at her though, instead he just stared out his window. And then she spoke again. He wanted to laugh. So many times he had said those words, and so many times had he not even ment them. He did here a slight shake to her voice, and he let out a heavy sigh. He slowly turned his head to look at her. He was trying to get his eyes to back off and turn thier normal green, but it wasn't working. They just stayed like that just to piss him off. Since he hated his body, his body pretty much hated him. Things always went wrong, and he always lost control. He looked forward again and swallowed. "I'm sorry Alex...." His voice was soft and almost at a whisper. "I didn' mean to frighten you..." And yes, he could tell she was scared. Mostly from her scent, but also b her facial expresions, and movements. Over the years he had gotten quiet good at reading people. Though, it never came in handy when you thought it would.

She bit down on her lower lip. She felt like she could fall apart any moment now. The way he acted had scared her, but that was only because it brought back good old memories. She let out a sigh as he apologized, putting on a weak smile. If only it was that easy to put on a real smile. "It's okay Dean..." She said softly, looking away from him for a moment. It felt like she could seriously wet herself, and it wasn't a good feeling. She was all nervous, hoping and praying she could keep herself from getting him angry yet again. No more saying things about werewolves, about wanting to be one. With a light smile she wrapped her arms around him the best she could, giving him a lame hug.

Faking a smile was truely an art. It was probably one of the hardest thing Dean ever had to fake. Yet, here he was, the smile on his face almost looking realy even though it was really far from it. He was just glad that she didn't hate him. hell, you had to be a real trooper if you were able to put up with all his shit and still like him. And frankly, he was thankful that she could. Surprised covered his face when she gave him a lame hug. A realy smile very slowly begining to form on his lips. He gave her a lame, awkward hug back, well, with the best of his ability. He let out a light, raspy chuckle. "Thanks for putting up with me kid." He said softly. All and all, this could be taken a good way, in a strange sense. If Alex were ever to have children, she would atleast have some experience. 'Cause we all know, Dean was just some big awkward child looking for something lost and forgotten.

She smiled lightly. At least he wasn't ready to rip her head off. It's not like everyday you were told that you were sitting beside a werewolf. It was kind of crazy, but awesome at the same time. She received the awkward hug, smiling brightly at his words. She could deal with him, werewolf or not. It just seemed too mean to go ahead and ditch him because of something like that. "I'm amazing, I know, I know." She stated with a teasing smile. There was no way anyone else could really handle the secret that Dean had just told her, so she felt pretty special. "And you thought there would be an awkward silence..." She whispered softly, her eyes going back to the window. It was still a little too crazy to believe, but she didn't want to argue.

He let out a scuff when she said she was amazing. "I will admit, your pretty cool, but I wouldn't call you amazing." He flashed her a smile before reaching up and taking the beer off the dashboard. He looked at it for a moment before taking a drink out of it. When she spoke again, he let out a soft chuckle. Okay, she had him there, ther wasn't an awkward silence, but he was pretty pissed for a couple of minutes. He leaned back in his seat, making it creak alittle. Dean then let out a slight pant, and turned the heat down somemore. It was getting to hot for him to hadle. He also ditched his jacket so he was just in his t-shirt. Slowly his gaze went over and looked at her. "You still cold?" He asked.

She glared playfully at him. Of course he would have to tease her. "Don't deny the fact that I'm so cool that you are blinded by my awesomeness." She said with a bright smile. Of course Alex believed that she was too cool for words to explain, while others could fins her anything except that. She watched as dean took in some more beer, letting out a sigh. She couldn't wait to see him get totally hammered. It would be freaky in so many ways, but there would be some amusement to the whole thing. Her elbows were propped up on her legs, and she rested her head in her hands. Soon she heard Dean's question, and she looked over at him. "No, not really..." She answered. Being a werewolf and having over a one-hundred degree temperature probably made heat your worst enemy.

As she spoke, he just laughed again. His green eyes turned to look at her, amusement dancing in them. "Well you know what, I am awesomeer than awesome. So ha..." He stuck his toungue out at her with a grin, then took another drink of his beer. He noticed to look on her face and he grinned slightly. "Don't worry, it is going to take a lot more than a six pack to get me drunk..." You could say Dean was a pretty hard core drinker, so he had a very high tolerance. It could be seen as a good or bad thing. Good when he went out partying, bad when he wanted to get drunk. He would end up paying a huge wad of cash by the end of the night, and most of the time it just wasn't worth it. He smiled though, when she said she wasn't cold. "Thank the lord..." He flipped the switch and the heat completely shut off. He grinned to himself and took another swig of his beer.

She rolled her eyes as she listened to his comment. Now this was war... The young girl crossed her arms across her chest and pouted. "I am awesomer than you awesome! I'm just the awesomest, so get used to it." She stated defiantly. In her eyes Dean was just an old goof, but he was pretty cool. Then she heard his comment and shook her head. Of course it would take more than a six pack... If only it would take less, she would point and laugh to watch him act like a nut. Then she heard his last comment, watching his finger flip of the heat. "Don't worry, I'm sure the body heat coming from you is enough to keep the car warm." She teased with a bright smile. If she got cold she would just latch onto Dean, not caring if liked it or not. Dean was her walking heater.

He looked over at her and narrowed his eyes. "Hey, I am awesomer then the awesomest person ever. You awesomeness beats yours like a cheetah to a slug!" He turned and take another drink of his beer. This all felt like devoo to him, like he had done it before. He thought back in his head, and smiled when he spied the memory. Dean was probably just a little over seventeen, holding a beer, his brother siting beside him, the only difference was that they were fighting who was more amazing, Dean or Sam. Of course Dean one, he was older, which made him right! He then looked over at her when she spoke, his eyes slightly narrowing at her. Sadly, though, his body heat probably would keep the car warm for a long time. He wish it would cool down though. He thought about rolling downthe window, but then he thought about Alex. She would probably begin to freeze and latch onto him. He frowned. He would rather be roasting then have a kid stuck to him.

She rolled her eyes at his comment. How could anyone beat her awesomeness? "I think you are bluffing..." She said with a look of deep thought on her face. Like Alex could think. "I'm more edumicated than you anyways." She said with a bright grin. That was a word she heard from her friend. It was some word she had heard of while watching TV. TV was pretty cool when it came to making up words. With a sigh she looked out the window. Why did Dean have to argue when it was pretty clear that Alex was totally cooler? Her eyes soon drifted back to him, smiling brightly. It was like she had something planned, something up her sleeve. Like Alex was capable of plotting against anything besides a stuffed animal. Even those seemed to have an advantage.
