Jazz walked closer to the edge of the cliff, her black hair flowing past her face. She sat down on the edge, and let her legs hang over, let them swing slowly as she sat there. Her hands rested in her lap, and she felt bored. No matter how hard she tried to get rid of the feeling of being bored it just seemed to zoom right back again. Her fingers messed around with the bracelets that made their way up her arm.
She thought about what was at the bottom ofthe cliff, and actually peeked over a bit only to see something that looked like normal ground. It looked like a long way down, and she probably wouldn't make it back up just to have some fun and jump off again, so to her there was no point. Jazz wished there was a point to her stupid ideas, but most of them were just ways to get away from life, and that was something she could never really care for. She wanted it to end, just blow away with the wind, and leave her body to sit there...alone.

Sam walked along the edge of the cliff. His hands were jammed into his pockets, and his gaze kept darting over the edge. He mind was filled with many thoughts, most of them about his older brother, Dean. Why did he have to be just a stuburn jerk that was willing to die for almost anybody? Sam should be dead, Dean should go on and live the rest of his life. Hell, that was why his father had traded Dean's life with his, so Dean could live! He grumbled, balling his hands into fists as he walked.
Thinking of death made his mind wandered a bit farther. An image of Jess suddenly came into his head, and he stopped, shutting his eyes so he could see the picture clearer. He sighed though, barely being able to make out her face. He could make out her body, his blond wavy hair, but only a faint outline of her face. Was he forgetting her? He sighed and opened his eyes. No, he could never forget her.
He started walking again, his eyes still looking over the edge. What if he just jumped right now? Just splattered himself on the ground, make all his troubles go away? Sure Dean would be angry, but Dean might be able to get out of his contract, might be able to live. He stopped again, and faced the edge. He looked down at the forest below. He was probably at the highest point of the cliff, a good two hundred foot drop at the least. It was surely kill him....
He stopped though, thinking the better of it. He just turned and started walking further down the cliff's edge. In the distance he caught sight of a girl. He walked over, and stopped when he was standing about two feet away. "Mind if I join you?" He asked as he looked down at Jazz.

Jazz's eyes were ripped from the view below her hanging feet to the boy that had wlaked up to her. She was suprised that someone would even care to sit near her, let alone talk to her. When she was in school she barely had any friends, but she told herself that it didn't matter. She tohught if she should let him sit there, or chase him off like she normally did.
"Go ahead..." She said quietly, her gaze going back to the view that she admired deeply. Jazz never understood why she was so quiet, but considered a freak. What had she done to anyone? Now all she did was sit alone at her house and listen to music, or sleep... She lifted her legs up, and crossed them slowly, as if she was afraid to move in front of Sam.

He let out a sigh sigh and down down beside her, his legs swinging over the edge. His hands fell into his lap and his fingers meshed between one another. "I am Sam..." He said, not really knowing if she herd him or not. She seem like a quiet person, and slightly, well, scared. He clenched his jaw for a moment, his gaze trailing over the edge of the cliff.
He let out a sutle sigh as he looked over. His life was so boring, well, not really, but to him it was getting that way. The some routine over and over. Look in the newspaper for a mysterious death, go there, get a hotel room, kill the bad thing, leave. He was just sick of it. Maybe they could actually stay in this town for a while, considering their dad was buried here. He hoped Dean wouldn't mind them staying.

"Jasmin, but I go by Jazz..." She brought her knees up to her chest, and wrapped her arms around them, seeming to grip onto herself tightly. Jazz never really liked to talk to people, and was bored with life, and bored with the things around her. She never really noticed how she would bore te people around her, and was suprised that many people would even talk to her. Right now she couldn't fight the fact that she was bored...
She glanced quickly over at Sam, not really wanting to be a social kind of person. Some of her friends called her a turtle since all she did was hide in her imaginary shell that she lugged everywhere with her. "You're gonna get bored really fast if you sit here, so don't be afraid to leave if you do get bored." Her fingers ripped at the bracelets that were bound to her arm, and she even scratched herself numerous times as she pulled and tugged at them.

Sam looked over at her and sighed. "I don't mind..." He said as he looked over at her. "I've been bored my whole life, so why give it up now?" He said with a sigh and turned his gaze back over the cliff again. He almost wished he could go back to college, go back to his friends. Maybe he could actually have a life, actually make money instead of just getting it from credit card scams. He sighed again, knowing it would never happen. He had been away from law school for three years, he had a feeling they weren't going to take him back now that his 'road trip' with his brother was over.

Jazz glanced slightly at Sam, letting her eyes slowly trail back to the sky in front of her. She wished she wasn't so alone, even though someone was right there she couldn't help but feel alone. Being alone was something that her life had gotten used to rather quickly. She was glad that she was finally out of school, all the torture from the other kids was a nightmare. Something warm and wet rolling down her arm caught her attention, and when she caught sight of the blood rolling from her arm she nearly smiled lightly. Her nails had ripped at her skin as she had ripped at the bracelets.

Sam's brown eyes stared in a bored tone out over the edge of the cliff. He slightly moved his feet away from the cliff wall, but then let them swing back and bounce off the rock. He sighed and stole a quick glance over at Jazz. His eyes caught sight of the red blood slowly moving down her arm. He just sat there, staring at it for a moment. He narrowed his eyes as he watched it slowly glide across her skin. "You know your bleeding, right?" He asked, his eyes still staring at the blood. You could just say he wasn't the best at giving conforting words.

Jazz looked over at Sam, a dazed look in her dark eyes. Suddenly her mind seemed to go back a couple seconds ago to his little question. "Bleeding...? Oh, yeah, I know I'm bleeding..." As if he had never asked her the question she faced the sight that seemed to hypnotize her every time she gazed at it. She wasn't all that great of a person, just sat around all deppressed looking, not caring about the world around her, yet she was perfectly aware of everything.

Sam's eyes just kept staring at the blood. "O.... you want a Band-AID or something....?" He asked as he finally broke his gaze from the red liquid. His brown gaze turning and looking at Jazz's face. Sam was a good guy. He liked helping people, well, most of the time. Like everybody else, he sometimes got his dark spells, and just wanted everyone to stay away or die. Right now he was between fading away or just being seen.

Jazz looked back over at Sam and smiled slightly. She wasn't too hot about covering her wounds, but she guessed she would cover it this one time for his sake. "Sure..." This small situation made her feel like a little kid with a cut. She kind of wished she was a little kid again just so she didn't have to worry about grown up crap. When her gaze slowly went to the cut it was beginning to stop rather slowly.

Sam pulled a band-aid out of his pocked and handed it to her. Why he had some on his pocket, he really wasn't sure. You could just say he was a cautious person. Really, he kind of had them for Dean, seeing how much his brother gets cut, but the oaf never took them. "Here... I don't think it will help much though..." He felt like a parent or something for a moment, giving her the band-aid. She probably thought he was some kind of freak or something.

Jazz took the band-aid out of his hand and looked at it. He was right. It wouldn't really help all that much, but she didn't want to deny the offer. "It's the thought that counts..." For a moment she actually thought about putting it on instead of letting it fall over the edge by "accident". It took her some time to peel off the plastic and very slowly she slipped it over the cut. "Thanks."
